Overseeing the craning in of a spa pool

Not many people realise that one of the tasks we manage is property maintenance for our clients.  Isn’t it always the way that the roof begins to leak when it begins pouring with rain and you’ve got an important meeting that you can’t miss or the water is off for some reason and you have a house full of guests for the weekend. Often delivery drivers or tradespeople tell you ‘I’ll be there between 8am and 5pm’! You can provide them with our number to call us when they are 30 minutes away and we can meet them on your behalf, so no missed meetings, appointments or school pick ups.

So what sort of other things do we do – we organise steam cleaning of furniture, deep clean of properties on move out day, meeting plumbers, electricians and tilers for odd jobs.  We organise water blasting of driveways, trimming of trees, roof and window cleaning and house painting. New furniture or trampoline? We can arrange to get these assembled. We manage whole renovation projects for our clients and one of our team has studied interior design, so she has great tips for colours/concepts.

We’ve estimated that if you work in the city and have to return home to meet a tradesman, that typically dependent on how far away your home is from work, you’re looking at at least 1 hour travel time, then usually 2 hours of time while the job is getting done and so that’s a total of 3 hours out of your day, which most of our clients just can’t afford to have happen.

So that’s where we can help.  You simply give us a call and we can manage this for you.  We have a list of reliable suppliers that we have dealt with for the last 5 years, that we know that we can trust to be there to help out, they arrive on time, their invoice matches their quote and they get the job done efficiently and effectively.

As an example, a previous project has been managing the installation of this spa pool.  The brief was to meet the builder/electrician/crane operator on site and supervise the installation.  House open for the electrician for power supply, liaison between the builder and the crane operator and plenty of photos to send to our client at their office.  Very exciting stuff craning the spa over the house – but it was all done very efficiently, water filled, quick visit to the pool shop for the necessary chemicals and then heat on.  The owners were able to enjoy the spa pool the following day (and every day following!)

If we can help with a home/garden project – big or small, please give us a bell.
